We chose to go to the beach and start hiking and from then it was full-on. We started by climbing a hill path to an old tower, with stunning views of the sea and the town of Cagliari

A real adventure is when you are completely clueless about what is going on. As my input had been zero, all I knew was that we would be in Sardinia for 8 days

It was a perfect end to a great week. Giving us time to reminisce one last time before our flight back the next day!

Then we had one of the best evenings of the trip, making pasta with a local Italian grandmother, making local gnocchi and ravioli. We got competitive trying to roll the roundest bread

Time to buckle up … our next adventure was calling. We were heading to Sardinia to wiggle our toes in crystal clear waters and much, much more!
